Is Your Relationship Telepathic?

Almost everyone has experienced telepathy in some way, even if it`s just thinking of someone and then receiving a phone call or a knock at the door from that person.

Telepathic descriptions are universally found in writings and folklore. In tribal societies such as the Aborigines of Australia, telepathy is accepted as a human faculty, while in more advanced societies it is considered a special ability of mystics and psychics. Science has not yet been able to prove the existence of telepathy, but it may not be long.

Telepathy and dreams

Dreams can bring telepathic messages. When dreaming we can sometimes communicate with the dead, spirit guides, and even the living. If someone is asked to send `mental images` to a dreaming person, the dreamer will sometimes incorporate those images into the dream.

Tuning in to your lover

Lovers are often tuned in to one another telepathically, since being in love is a high frequency emotional state. Why not try to send a message to your lover while you are awake and they are asleep? Practice sending a colour or an image - it may surprise you how often they will receive it. Imagine yourself going into their dream and showing them the colour or symbol. You can also try this when your lover is far away, but it`s important to think of them as being close by. When you send thoughts or images telepathically, never be invasive or forceful.

What to look for

There are several ways that telepathy can operate:

Clairvoyance: The image will appear in your mind`s eye as you concentrate on the area on your forehead in between your eyes. 
Clairaudience: Concentrate on your inner ears and you`ll hear descriptions or sounds that will tell you what the image is. 
Clairsentience: Just by thinking about the picture will bring up feelings and a deep knowing about what it is the other person is looking at.

Fun and games

Develop a telepathic link with your partner by playing this game.
Tear out twenty pictures and ads from magazines (one bold image on its own is best). Shuffle the pictures. Then put 10 pictures in one envelope and 10 in another. If you can have a third party do this step, it`s even better.

Sit face to face with your partner at a table, or about five feet apart on the floor. You can also try sitting in separate rooms or back to back with a screen between you.

Decide who will be the first sender and who will be the first receiver. Put the two large envelopes described above in front of you. The sender should discreetly pull out the first image and keep it hidden from the receiver. Quiet your mind. Both of you close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and get into a relaxed, psychic state.

The sender acts first, studying the image in detail and actively sending thoughts about the image to the receiver.

The receiver pick ups all the information they can, describing what they see, hear and feel. The sender should not correct the receiver at this point, but allow them to describe what they feel.

The whole process should take three or four minutes.  Switch roles and do it again. Stop after you both have a chance to send and receive, share your pictures and see how accurate you both were. Repeat often to strengthen your telepathic bond!
